Manuracturing Engineer/Planner
The Boeing Company

737 Electrical Systems Integration Manufacturing Engineer Lead: Lead and trained a team of 6 engineers in the pursuit of Lean Manufacturing goals.  Some of the team goals were as follows: Identified key choke points in our production system, developed KPIs to monitor success, performed RCCA to resolve an issue or PDCA to improve a system, modernize tracking systems to monitor production.

737 Electrical Systems / Electrical Corrective Action Team (ECAT) Planner: Responded to and resolved an average of 60 production issues (help tickets) a month.  Created parts lists and work instructions for emergent engineering changes as well as coordinated with Supplier Management and Vendors as required.  Lead multi-discipline team to evaluate high volume of reallocations resulting in 90% reduction to reallocations performed.  Participated in ME community group driving ME’s to “Own the Build” and teach what it means to be the bridge between design and assembly in the production system.

FSCC Feederline/Empennage Team: Lead agile/SCRUM team to fix Rudder Pedal IPs improving build sequence and reducing out of position work by 30%.

Wide Band Communications and RF Systems (WCRS) / Very Important Person & Special Air Mission (VIPSAM) IPT Planner: Program ME focal point for IF-LOS Antennas, SATCOM Antennas, Antenna Power Switching Units and integration of Antennas with associated electronics and hardware for the Talon HATE Upper Assembly program delivery requirements.  Established the repair capability for antenna modules of the Phased Array Antenna repair by establishing process, assembly, & test flows in support of flight recertification and final delivery.  Built, tracked, and coordinated plans for Acceptance testing of DTR units saving the company $15000 per unit.

Liaison Planning support of P-8 Poseidon:  Helped implement the Planning Action Request (PAR) system; reducing Manufacturing problem resolution time from 5 days to 1 day.  Assisted in the maintenance of the newly developed NEXUS system (MS Access) which provided real time MES data to all manufacturing entities within the P-8 Program.
